Anomaly: Warzone Earth, at its core, is an arcade approach to the real-time-strategy genre. You have the heat of an RTS battle raging around you, as you find yourself in the middle it all, supporting your squad, issuing orders, changing tactics when the situation forces you to do so.

We just got back from our Kevin Smith show, and while it wasn't his typical Q&A gig that we have seen a few times on DVD (check it out, they are called "An Evening With Kevin Smith"), it was their smodcast show, more of a panel discussion where they talk about all sorts of topics. It was funny as hell, but I was a tad disappointed because I had an awesome question to fire his way.

It's been raining cats & dogs over here for the past few days, so no excursions are planned, aside from some errands and loads of DVR watching.

Last night was a bit busy due to a bunch of flights being delayed, so I had to wait for an extra hour at the airport for an incoming flight. It postponed all the other plans for the evening.

Midnight dinner, with a few glasses of wine resulted in falling asleep for the rest of the night, waking up at noon, going to see Paul, which was quite entertaining. It was filled with loads of cursing, nerd humor and a weed-smoking alien.

Later tonight, we are going to go see Kevin Smith, so to sum it up, our day will be filled with nothing but profanity, just the way we like it!
