Originally scheduled for a 2007 release,  Codemasters revealed that "After a much extended development period, Heist has been terminated as a project and removed from our release schedule. Codemasters is focusing its future portfolio on high quality titles that will, in the majority, be developed and produced by our internal studios."

They is a first person mystery shooter featuring a technically future minded 3D engine with next generation effects, brand new gameplay elements and a revolutionary weapon system to survive the challenges ahead! Citing "economic reasons," CD Projekt RED revealed that Metropolis is no longer working on They, but is instead collaborating on The Witcher, hoping to resume development on the FPS at a later time.
