The past few months, it has been raining clues, hints and leaks pointing at Sony prepping a PS3 "slim" SKU, as well as a price drop to boost sales, while Sony has been denying the product's existence. Many people expected a formal announcement to be made at GamesCom, but it seems K-Mart and Sears did not feel like waiting, as both have listings for a 120GB PS3 slim model at $299.
