Get ready for the return of some of Nintendo’s best-loved characters as Donkey Kong Jungle Beat has been added to the Wii’s New Play Control family, in which classic games are reinvented to take advantage of Wii’s unique motion sensing capabilities and new widescreen experience.

Gazillion Entertainment unveiled a key partnership to develop MMO games based on Marvel Entertainment brands, starting with a casual MMO Super Hero Squad, and Marvel Universe for PC/consoles.

Last month, Tecmo revealed that it would be making a major announcement at GDC, and we speculated it might be a new installment in the Ninja Gaiden or Dead or Alive franchise. According to the latest issue of Japanese magazine Famitsu, Tecmo will unveil Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 for the PS3, which, like the original, is an improved version of the Xbox 360's Ninja Gaiden II, featuring a new playable character (Ayane), boss fights and a new weapon.
