CCP's creative writer Hjalti Danielsson has written an epic novel set in the game's universe, EVE: The Burning Life, while the game itself will receive two new content updates adding new rigs, new mission arcs, specialized cargo holds and factional warfare improvements.

Unbound Saga is a 3D side-scrolling brawler set in a satirical comic book universe, where enemies are drawn onto the screen and madcap battles travel from panel to panel through a post-apocalyptic landscape. Break off a weapon and rage off the page!

Zen Studios' PSN exclusive The Punisher: No Mercy was designed with fast-paced online multiplayer FPS action in mind. For the first time on consoles, you'll see the Marvel Universe through a first-person perspective in some intense arena-based multiplayer action, complete with characters like Jigsaw, Bushwacker, Barracuda and even Silver Sable. A free, two-level demo of The Punisher: No Mercy will be downloadable on PSN July 2, 2009.

For the past week, Square Enix has been teasing about a new upcoming game, but the latest issues of Shonen Jump and Famitsu beat them to the punch in revealing Four Warriors of Light: Final Fantasy Gaiden for NDS. A turn-based RPG that puts you in the role of a 14-year-old boy on a mission to rescue a princess from a wicked witch, Final Fantasy Gaiden no longer features a menu-based combat system but uses "charges"; you'll team up with others in a four-character squad customizable with a variety of weapons and armor.

Renegade Kid, known for Dementium the Ward and Moon, is not only working on a sequel to its horror/action game, but also has a second project in the works, Maximillian and the Rise of the Mutant Mudds. The new game is a platformer, where the player will use a waterpack to double-jump chasms and squirt enemies to death. It might be a download-only title to avoid expensive retail packaging costs.
