Battlefield 1943 takes players back to WWII. The game offers endless hours of 24 player multiplayer action over three classic and tropic locations; Wake Island, Guadalcanal and Iwo Jima. Last week, an ad on the back cover of German print magazine Games claimed that Battlefield 1943 would be available for download on PSN/XBL on June 25, 2009, but EA informed us that this is a misprint and will not be available at said date, but rather later this summer.
