Nintendo added a classic, a WiiWare, and two NDSi titles to the Shop Channels. Nintendo owners with online access can redeem Points to download: Party Fun Pirate (Wiiware), Pitfall: The Mayan Adventure (VC), Master of Illusion Express: Shuffle Games, and Mixed Messages (NDSiWare).

Whether or not Bungie will make Halo games beyond ODST, Microsoft is looking to carry the franchise onto multiple platforms — but no other consoles. The Redwood software giant is looking for a software development engineer "to blend console, web, and mobile to create an immersive Halo world," and to "deliver a great out-of-game interactive experience that takes the next step beyond the systems found in Halo 3."

According to former Atari/EA producer Ash Monif, who has since moved on to Subatomic Studios, Airborne Rangers was a free-to-play FPS featuring a virtual monetary point system, character & weapon customizations, cross-platform interactivity & mini-games, 3D social space, and progressive in-game fictional timeline (thanks superannuation).
