Defcon is an online, competitive, multiplayer strategy game simulating global thermonuclear war. The game, inspired by the 1983 cult-classic film, Wargames, superbly evokes the tension, paranoia and suspicion surrounding the Cold War era.

The G.I. Joe video game will feature an exclusive storyline that picks up where the live-action movie leaves off, allowing players to re-create and re-live the greatest moments from the film, cartoon series and action figure toy line.

Sacred 2 is a action-oriented deep fantasy RPG where players are immersed in an epic journey through the medieval-like kingdom of Ancaria featuring pitched battles and a wide range of enticing quests.

R.U.S.E. is a strategy game in which the players use their brain as the ultimate weapon, fighting a war of perception, where the ability to deceive and mislead the enemy determines success. A first in a strategy game, R.U.S.E. reinvigorates the genre by using deception to give new-found depth to the game play.

Set in a modern day survival-horror universe, the co-op gameplay of L4D casts four Survivors in an epic struggle against hordes of swarming zombies and terrifying Boss Infected mutants. The free Survival Pack adds a new Survival multiplayer mode as well as 2 complete campaigns for Versus Mode, and will be released next week on PC to coincide with the X360's confirmed April 21st date.

L.A. Noire is an interactive detective story set in the 1947 classic noir period situated in an exact recreation of mid century L.A. drawing players into an open-ended challenge to solve a series of gruesome murders, but also side missions based on real events from that period. We haven't heard anything from L.A. Noire since Sept. 2008 when it was said to be still a year out, but Team Bondi's job listing has openings for several positions (3D modelers, game designers and a senior programmers) indicating it might be ramping up development for the final push (thanks Joystiq).

Ascaron is putting the finishing touches on the console version of its action/rpg Sacred 2, but it seems the lengthy development process and several delays may have cost the German developer a little bit too much as it has filed for bankruptcy protection on April 14, 2009. Ascaron is looking for interesting parties to acquire the studio, and to sweeten the pot it revealed that an add-on for Sacred 2 is already in development, scheduled for this summer, as well as a third installment in the franchise.
