Blizzard Not Accompanying Activision at E3

Missing in E3 2008, Activision revealed earlier this week that it is once again an exhibitor at this year's weeklong gaming conference in Los Angeles. However, people looking forward to checking out StarCraft II or Diablo III will be disappointed as Blizzard confirmed it will not be attending the E3 2009, claiming, "our current focus is on the ongoing development of Diablo III, StarCraft II, and World of Warcraft." Seems like BlizzCon is going to be the main event for all things Blizzard this year ....

'Saw' (ALL) Picked Up by Konami

The last we heard from SAW was shortly after Brash Entertainment's demise, as it was being shopped around to other publishers. Using the Unreal Engine 3, Saw is being developed with the creators of the SAW movies, Leigh Whannell & James Wan, and according to Variety, it's now being picked up by Konami. Familiar with the genre through its Silent Hill franchise, Konami is said to have picked up the project after the right reverted to Lionsgate. Still being developed by Zombie Studios, the source claims the game is now also coming to PC.
