Xbox 360 Gets NXE HDMI Audio fix

Ever since Microsoft rolled out the New Xbox Experience a select few Xbox 360 owners had been plagued with an HDMI audio bug, which has now been addressed. Starting Tuesday morning at 0200 Pacific when you sign into Xbox Live you’ll be prompted for a mandatory dashboard update, addressing the issue that a few folks were having with audio and their HDMI connection.

Ensemble Studios' Canceled Titles Revealed

Later this month Bruce Shelley will be inducted into AIAS Hall of Fame, but it will only be a small comfort since Ensemble Studios is closed as of today. Gamasutra is running a feature revealing what the longtime developer was working on. Sorcerer (a fantasy-adventure RPG), Nova (a Diablo in space), a pirate-themed take on Diablo, Wrench, Barn (a Ratchet & Clank-style platformer), and Agent, a game inspired by Pixar's The Incredibles universe, mixed with Tomb Raider gameplay elements.

'Prince of Persia' (ALL) Epilogue DLC Not Coming to PC

Prince of Persia is opening a new chapter in the Prince of Persia universe, featuring a new breed of gameplay. The game is poised to rejuvenate the action-adventure genre in addition to introducing a brand-new illustrative art style. Already hinted at in the original press release by saying "coming to console" Ubisoft has confirmed the Epilogue DLC is not coming to PC.

'Grand Theft Auto IV' (PC) v1.0.3.0 Patch In the Works?

Rockstar's open-ended crime series returns to New York situated around the Eastern European protagonist Nikolai. The PC edition features a replay editor with Rockstar Social Club integration, expanded multiplayer, higher resolution, and match filtering. A community member who contacted SecuROM support to complain about a DRM issue received a no-cd executable to fix the issue, which oddly enough carries the v1.0.3.0 version number, indicating RockStar might already be working on another patch.

Resident Evil 5 promising to revolutionize the survival horror series by delivering an unbelievable level of detail, realism and control. Since its Jan. 26th release, more than 1.3 million Xbox Live members downloaded the demo in just the first three days, and 1.8 million in its first week, a new record.
