Tomb Raider: Underworld is an epic adventure game that delivers exploration-based gameplay giving players a new level of challenge and choice as they solve mysteries from exotic locations around the world. Last week, Eidos revealed Tomb Raider: Underworld fell short of internal expectations, making the company's stock drop 25%, followed by the inevitable layoffs at Crystal Dynamics. One of the 30 victims was creative director Eric Lindstrom, who said he wished they could have spent more time polishing Underworld.

Joint Administrators were appointed to UK based developer Blimey! Games on Jan. 8 2009, following the insolvency of its parent company, 10tacle Studios in the summer of 2008. Former Blimey! head honcho Ian Bell acquired all the assets and its workforce.
