Microsoft announced that marketing veteran Michael Delman has been named corporate vice president of global marketing for the Interactive Entertainment Business (IEB) in the Entertainment and Devices Division at Microsoft.

Trion World Network, founded by Might & Magic creator Jon Van Caneghem, are expanding their team once more. After recently having hired former SOE Executive Director of Development Nicholas Beliaeff, it has now signed SCEA's former Director of Online Technology Glen Van Datta. Trion World is currently working on a cross-platform fantasy themed MMORPG.

Earlier this month it came to light that Majestic's adventure game Limbo of the Lost blatantly stole game content from various games such as Bethesda's The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion and Eidos' Thief: Deadly Shadows, Painkiller and more. Publisher Tri Synergy immediately halted distribution, while today, the three-man development team claims to have no knowledge of using unauthorized copyrighted material.

Today Nintendo added two classics and two WiiWare titles to the Wii's Shop Channel. Wii owners with online access can redeem Wii Points to download the following titles: Gyrostarr (Wiiware), Alex Kidd in Miracle World (VC) and Burning Fight (VC).

Aion is the ultimate MMORPG with strengthened interaction between players. Aion’s world consists of 3 realms - the heavens, the devildom and the dragon realm. Players will experience dynamic communications with the world of Aion as they conduct strategic battles. The beta test scheduled for mid 2008 has been pushed until late 2008, while the late 2008 release date is now scheduled for "during 2009."
