When Sierra announced that it was bringing World in Conflict to consoles it revealed there would be extra content included, which then would eventually be brought to the PC as an expansion pack. According to Czech edition of OXM (thanks Jan) World in Conflict: Soviet Assault is the official name of the console edition and PC expansion pack, and add a brand new campaign (including playable Russian side), EndWar-like voice commands, new multiplayer maps (10 players only instead of original 16), and new units (chronoplane, boats). According to online retailer PLAY, WiC: Soviet Assault is scheduled for Oct. 2008.

SouthPeak Games has signed a publishing agreement with Lexis Numérique for its newest old-school 2D side-scroller action adventure game, Mister Slime, featuring clever “elastic” controls.

SOCOM Confrontation focuses on online play and the global community and clans that support it, with support for Tournaments, Clan Ladders, and Leader Boards. Additionally, players will be able to modify their appearance through facial and physical customization. The May issue of EGM reveals SOCOM Confrontation is slated for Sept. 16, 2008.
