As the Chipmunks perform in each of the musical levels—from school proms to Burning Man to Forest Arenas to the ultimate, Rockathonapalooza – players are challenged to keep in rhythm with the music.

SEGA announced that it's bringing back Samba De Amigo, the Dreamcast classic that helped to create the now-popular rhythm music genre. Storm Island is a free content addon currently in development for Bounty Bay Online. ND Games announces 9th Company: Roots of Terror, a new action-oriented RTS developed by Lesta Studios, creators of Pacific Storm, using their brand-new proprietary engine.

Sony Corp just released its 2nd quarter 2007 financial results, and while there is an overall upward trend mainly due to last year's battery pack fiasco, the gaming division is getting hit hard. Sales are up 42.9%, primarily because of PS3, but the hardware division itself is bleeding money, as operating loss increased ($867 million) due to the strategic pricing of PS3 at points lower than its production cost.

StarCraft II will feature the return of the Protoss, Terran, and Zerg races, overhauled and re-imagined with Blizzard's approach to game balance, designed to be the ultimate competitive RTS game.
