Maelstrom is a strategy action epic which takes place on a devastated future Earth. In the wake of an apocalyptic ecological disaster, the planet is threatened by an alien invasion, thus becoming the battleground as a divided human race fights for survival. The demo contains 2 maps, parts of two of the factions, and is playable single or multiplayer across the net or a LAN.

Pokemon Diamond and Pokemon Pearl are set in an entirely new region called "Sinnoh," where players can choose to begin their adventure as either a boy or girl Pokemon trainer on a path to becoming Pokemon League Champion. Both titles will support wi-fi and have chat capabilities, letting you talk to friends before, during or after battles.

According to the last NPD market results Nintendo Wii was the best-selling next-gen video game console in the United States in February, selling 335,000 units, compared to 127,000 PS3s, and 228,000 Xbox 360s. Oddly enough the PS3 ended up last amongst current as well as last gen consoles, even outsold by its own 7-year old PS2 and the GBA. Software sales increase a whopping 53 %, ruled by Microsoft's Crackdown with over 400k units.

'Ankh' (NDS) Announced

German publisher bhv announced that it is bringing Ankh, a point and click adventure game, to the NDS. Developed by Xider, you play as Assil, a young Egyptian man in trouble, making his way through treacherous Cairo, avoiding evil Pharaohs, crocodiles and assassins, to lift his own death curse.
