2K Games announced that it will publish Gearbox Software's earlier revealed Borderlands. As the first title in an all-new sci-fi action franchise, Borderlands combines the best elements of first-person action titles with player customization and vehicular combat to create an unprecedented gaming experience.

Rise of Kunark introduces a new playable race, the Sarnak. This dragon-like humanoid inhabits the jungle islands of Timorous Deep, a new starting location for adventurers. Timorous Deep presents a wealth of new content for levels 1-20, and is one of the many new zones being developed for this expansion.

Pirates, Merchants & Explorers takes players into a fifteenth century historical setting. Adventurers can start an online career as merchant, buccaneer, fisherman or one of many other professions. Players fight on land and water, complete enthralling quests and found guilds with other players.

Players take on the role of Joseph Turok, a former Black Ops commando, now part of an elite Special Forces squad on a mission to take down a war criminal on a genetically-altered planet. After initially being delayed, Turok is now scheduled for Feb. 8, 2008
