20th Century Fox has acquired the movie rights to one of EA's most popular and best-selling franchises, its life simulation game The Sims," according to Variety. Fox's John Davis, known for Norbit and Eragon, will oversee the live-action project, with Sims studio head Rod Humble managing the creative property for EA, while Brian Lynch (Scary Movie 3) will script. Details on the story or possible actors are still unknown.
