Microsoft has kicked off the registration period for the upcoming Games for Windows Live beta testing, opportunities that will only be available for a limited time. To be considered you will need to complete the Games for Windows - Live Beta application survey. Games for Windows Live is the upcoming online service that will allow multiplayer connectivity between PC Xbox 360.

Pogo Island includes five games, the colored-stone-grouping Phlinx, the balloon-popping Poppit!, the color-matching Squelchies, a card-based Tri-Peaks Solitaire, the scrambled-word challenge Word Whomp, as well as meta game that challenges players to find Pogo mascots across the backdrop of Pogo Island.

Project Hipassus, developed by Frozen North, is an MMO game that allows players to create magic for their characters by leveraging sophisticated mathematics rendered accessible and made easy to understand by the game engine. Targeted toward high school kids, it will be available on X360 and Vista, incorporating Live Anywhere as the online platform.
