With the recent demise of German publisher 10Tacle, industry veterans Juergen Reusswig and Slavo Hazucha founded indie studio Games Distillery. Former 10TACLE Slovakia partners, the duo aims their development focus at downloadable titles, mainly through Xbox Live Arcade and similarly designed distribution models for PC.

Since January 2008 10Tacle stocks plunged from its former high of 14€/share down to a historical low of less than 1€. Cause of the problem was twofold, various properties sold below expectations (Jack Keane, Warfront: Turning Point, Panzer Tactics) while other high profile/expensive titles (Elveon, Totems) got delayed. In March 2008 CEO Michele Pes was replaced by Joachim Magin who laid off 25% of its employees in a restructuring effort and canceled the acquisition of The Games Company. Fate of titles such as Black Prophecy, Elveon, Totems (studio had to shut down), Codename Panzers: Cold War is unknown.

In the course of their continued strategic growth 10Tacle Studios AG has taken over the Berlin-based developing and marketing firm The Games Company Worldwide, co-founded by Silver Style Entertainment's Carsten Strehse known for The Fall: Last Days of Gaia, and Simon the Sorcerer.

10Tacle Studios announced plans to acquire a 29% stake in Climax Group, as well as the signing of a strategic partnership to jointly develop games in specific genres, with the first two action/fantasy titles already in the pipeline.

10Tacle announced that its Leipzig Games Convention 2007 lineup will include six world premieres. Among its offerings will be Codename Panzers: Cold War, Reakktor's sci-fi MMO Black Prophecy, Ready2Rumble: Revolution (Wii), Boulder Dash: Rocks (NDS/PSP), Happy Hippos (NDS/PC), and a secret next-gen title in development at its Belgian studio.

Significantly expanding its in-house development capacity 10Tacle Studios today announced it acquired a 100% stake in Budapest based developer Stormregion, known for the Codename Panzers RTS franchise, currently employing a staff of 95.

10tacle Studios today announced its preliminary results for 2006, which exceeded analysts' expectations and internal goals. Consolidated revenue for FY2006 was €29M, a 62% increase over last year's €17.9M. Operating income also sharply increased during the same time frame to €4.7M, beating last year's €1.7M by 181.6%. CEO Michele Pes credits the success to 10tacle strengthening its position in key Asian markets.

10Tacle and Ferrari signed a licensing agreement for the development of video games allowing 10Tacle Studios to produce games using the Italian sports car manufacturer's product palette and brand name.

10Tacle Studios announced an extensive cooperation with Chinese Nineyou IT, to cover the sales and marketing of 10T products on the Asian market, the joint development of new multi-player games and the porting of existing concepts to Europe.

While GTR 2 has yet to be released, 10Tacle has revealed that is it already working on their next racing title, codenamed Project Falcon. AutoSimSport interviewed Blimey! Games' Ian Bell, where he mentioned the new title is scheduled for end of 2007, will be multiplatform, and although not part of the GTR series will feature multiple authentic racing types, with real world tracks.

The team of 45 people led by CEO Ian Bell is specialised in the development of ultra-realistic racing games, such as GTR, and GTR Legends.

10Tacle Studios will participate in this year's Games Convention in Leipzig. During the trade show, 10TACLE will focus on titles such as GTR 2: FIA GT Racing Game and Elveon as well as on further productions to be specified later on which will be presented to trade visitors in the Business Center with the help of elaborately designed theme worlds.

Yves Grolet’s team made up of 22 members became known due to their work on the PC game Outcast which made history thanks to an innovative technical approach and a completely new and exciting gameplay concept.

10TACLE Studios announced today that it has signed an agreement with Stormregion for Codename Panzers II, which will be developed from scratch and even leave the World War II scenario. The game is schedule for release on the PC in 2008, but adaptations to other gaming consoles are being discussed.

Every year, Oktoberfest in Munich attracts millions of people from across the world. The event is synonymous with fun, a great atmosphere and wild partying, a good enough reason for 10Tacle Studios to now also develop PC, video and mobile phone games set in the pavillions, fun rides and fairground booths of the famous venue Münchner Wiesn. Consequently, 10T recently secured the exclusive worldwide licensing rights with regards to the biggest public festival and its official mascot, a Bavarian dachshund referred to as "Wies'n Wastl."
