Walt Disney Pictures and Jerry Bruckheimer Films have acquired "Game Boys," an action movie revolving around two 30-something video game junkies recruited by the Department of Homeland Security to lead a geeky army of gamers in a battle against creatures that have come to life from a video game they have mastered. NDL announced today, from the 2004 E3, that Gamebryo is being used by game developer Cyberlore in the creation of the upcoming title, Playboy: The Mansion for the Xbox, PS2 and PC. Cyberlore has fully integrated Gamebryo into its Prometheus Engine to improve graphics and reduce the time and resources associated with cross-platform development.
And now for something completely different. Over here at WorthPlaying we usually focus our efforts to review and preview the multitude of PC and console games that come out every week, but exceptions can be made here and there for certain products. One such product is Nintendo’s Gameboy Advance SP, which at first glance seems too similar to the original Gameboy Advance to garner a purchase. However, upon closer inspection the GBA SP wildly surpasses the original version, with a slew of features that the original GBA simply doesn’t have.

THQ Inc. and Sega Corporation today announced a co-publishing agreement through which the companies will release two new Nintendo Game Boy Advance adventures based on one of the biggest videogame icons of all time, Sonic the Hedgehog. The games are scheduled to ship in North, Central and South America in the first half of 2004.
