In 2006, MumboJumbo and Seattle-based PopCap Games reached an agreement whereby MumboJumbo would produce, distribute and sell certain PopCap games in North America. A jury in the 193rd Civil District Court in Dallas County, Texas, agreed that PopCap breached the contract when it decided to market and sell its games on its own.

PopCap Games has secured US$22.5 million in funding led by Meritech Capital Partners, Larry Bowman and John McCaw. Earlier this year PopCap denied it was bringing Peggle to NDS, but last month a new office was opened in Shanghai to bring several of its hit titles, including Peggle, to Asian audiences. At the Casual Connect conference in Seattle PopCap's Mark Cochrane confirmed that Q Entertainment, known for Lumines, is developing Peggle for NDS, scheduled for later this year. POpCap is also bringing two hidden object games to NDS, Amazing Adventures: The Forgotten Ruins and Mystery P.I.: Portrait of a Thief.
