NCsoft issued its Q2 2008 financial results revealing that while sales were up 7%, operating profit, pre-tax profit, and net income dropped 25%, 31%, 42%, respectively. Yesterday it came to light that Activision Blizzard would not be attending the E3 Media & Business Summit 2008 (as well as not renewing its ESA membership altogether) and while the exhibitors list seemed to be incomplete, NCSoft and Foundation 9 confirmed they are not attending either. While id Software themselves seem to be uncertain (first confirmed, then retracted it) Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment issued a statement making clear that in spite of not being on the list, it will be attending E3.
