It has been rumoured for a few months now that there would possibly be a NOLF3 and although not much has been said and done (nolf3.com IS registered to Fox Int, involved in the previous NOLF games). Today we contacted one of our Vivendi contact to ask wether they could shed some light on "Contract Jack", and all they had to say is "No comment, we will announce soon". No specifics are known, wether this is merely an addon or a full fledged game but it does imply the introduction of a male character Jack, whilst our favorite female spy Archer will also be in on things ... Now that the cat is out of the bag, we can probably expect a formal announcement soon ...

Gamespy has a very interesting article regarding the future of Sierra/Monolith's stealth FPS, No One Lives Forever 2. According to the article there are plans at Monolith for future releases of both a tool package and an expansion pack for NOLF2. An add-on is expected later this year, as well as a new (mainly multiplayer patch (in the next 2 weeks), and tools for the mod community. The new patch will have 10 new maps (mostly adapted single player maps), a new multiplayer mode "Doomsda". Gamespy also hints to a possible NOLF3, which we here at WP have been suspicious about for a while, especially since the NOLF3.com is already registered to Fox Interactive.

Sierra has just released the 1.2 Update for No One Lives Forever 2, adding multiplayer deathmatch mode, dedicated server support and a host of other updates. This version is required for online play. Sierra simultaniously released the first map pack which includes a set of new maps not included with the No One Lives Forever 2 CD-ROM. Map Pack #1 requires installation of the 1.2 Update. Today, NOLF2.com opens its new website and hopes to become one of the centers for all things related to No One Lives Forever 2. The site contains news, info, cheats, links, downloads, forums and everything else a fan of this soon to be hit needs. They also planning on hosting community sites, such as modding, skinning, mapping, etc.

Sierra Entertainment, Inc., a studio of the Games division of Vivendi Universal Publishing, and Fox Interactive(tm) announced today No One Lives Foreverä 2: A Spy in H.A.R.M.'s Wayä has indeed gone gold. The sequel to the award winning The Operative: No One Lives Foreverä continues the adventures of super spy Cate Archer, pitting her once more against H.A.R.M. and the ever-present threat of global catastrophe.

Along with hosting the official No One Lives Forever 2 Demo, Nvidia has a sweet little interview posted with Monolith's Craig Hubbard (Lead Game Designer) and Chris Miller (Fox Producer). There are some nice screens included as well. Go check it out.

As expected the demo version of No One Lives Forever 2: A Spy in H.A.R.M.'s Way has been released and can be found on FilePlanet (registration required) and also at Gigex. The demo is a 158 MB download, and according to plan, offers "four levels total from three of the game's 15 chapters. The UNITY Operatives have uncovered several internal confidential memorandums and phone taps revealing that Sierra and Fox Interactive are planning to release the highly anticipated No One Lives Forever 2: A Spy in H.A.R.M.'s Way Demo sometime in the next week! All UNITY Operatives in training have had the chance to face off with the H.A.R.M. Ninjas while overcoming a treacherous tornado on the recent mission to Ohio. All UNITY Operatives in training will have to get ready for the three new levels and be prepared to face even more dangerous H.A.R.M. foes. UNITY Headquarters are expected to receive additional details and will transmit to all UNITY operatives in training. Be on the lookout for more details on how to get your hands on these confidential levels!

You've been asking for it and it is on its way! Sierra and Fox Interactive confirmed that the official demo for NO ONE LIVES FOREVER 2: A SPY in H.A.R.M.'s WAY will be available in September. Make some room on your hard drive for this one. The demo will include 3 levels from the game which is being developed by Monolith. Today we have some new NOLF2 schtuff fer ya! First, we have the latest gadget release: It's Cate's improved, fully-functional, lipstick camera. Monolith didn't skip a beat, all of NOLF2's new equipment and weapons are done with excellent detail. And hmm.. who is that interesting looking character in Cate's view? Also included is another example of the fantastic AI in NOLF2. Folks can expect to be amazed! And for the cherry on top, we have a new shot of Cate's grenade blowing up some H.A.R.M. folk in Siberia. Njoy!
