Back in early 2007 New Line Cinema (now a unit of Warner Bros.) acquired the movie rights to Epic's action game Gears of War, to be adapted by Stuart Beattie and produced by Temple Hill Entertainment.
Twilight producer Wyck Godfrey revealed that the script was ready and the movie was scheduled for summer 2010 with a director about to be attached. According to
Variety that turns out to be Die Hard 4 helmer Len Wiseman, who previously did Underworld (and sequel). Wiseman is set to make a new draft of the film's screenplay with The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift screenwriter Chris Morgan.

While there hasn't been any official announcement yet, the leak over at research firm Intellisponse reveals that Lips is a music and singing game that includes 30 songs, 2 wireless interactive microphones (with motion sensors that allow you to dance, move or swing to score points), the ability to use and sing your own music or download songs from an online service. Lips scores you on your singing (pitch, rhythm and tune) and your overall performance.

At this weekend's Major League Gaming Halo 3 competition in San Diego, Bungie's Lukems and Shishka
revealed that they are working on a remake of the classic Halo: Combat Evolved map Chill Out, to be released in the upcoming map pack as Cold Storage. No further info was revealed, but details are expected in the next Bungie update.
