Activision, Inc. today announced that WRECKLESS: The Yakuza Missions, its mission-based driving game for the Xbox video game system from Microsoft, will shift into overdrive on the Nintendo GameCube this November. Like the upcoming PlayStation2 computer entertainment system version, the Nintendo GameCube title will feature all of the ultra-realistic pulse-pounding missions of the Xbox game, plus 20 all-new missions, two-player action, 16 more vehicles to drive with mounted rockets, new sub-missions, interaction with pedestrians, 60 fps gameplay and a "Free Roam" mode. The official Red Faction 2 web site now has a sign-up page where people can fill in to receive a free Playstation 2 demo disk containing a partial build of Volition and THQ's upcoming "destroy everything" first person shooter sequel. Bethesda Softworks is pleased to announce The Elder Scrolls III: Tribunal, an expansion pack for its critically acclaimed RPG, The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind for PC. Scheduled for release this November, Tribunal will introduce additional content and features into the already staggering game world of Morrowind, and can be experienced by any player at any point. A microchip project between Sony, Toshiba and IBM, which aims to create a powerful processor for home electronics, could be a clue to Sony's plans for gaming in the future.. Battlefront.com tossed up a 60Mb Combat Mission: Barbarossa to Berlin Demo. The demo contains two full scenarios playable by either side plus a playable tutorial and supports multiplayer gaming with hotseat or PBEM (Play by Email) or Network play via TCP/IP. For the Windows PC version the Demo is currently only available in English. For the Mac Demo, you can choose to download the demo in either English, French or German Languages.
