Battlefield Heroes is an all-new Play 4 Free cartoon-style shooter that will bring classic Battlefield gameplay to an all new mass audience, featuring a built-in matchmaking system to ensure that players of equal skill are paired together for fair play. Halo 3: Recon is a new chapter in the Halo saga that lets gamers experience events leading up to the story told in Halo 3 through the eyes of a new hero in the Halo universe.
According to the latest GameInformer, the stand-alone expansion extends the Halo 3 experience with 3-5 hours of new campaign excursions, and is not considered "a $60 title." Unlocking the Vidmaster Challenge achievement will earn players the Recon Armor, currently exclusive to only a few members of the Halo 3 community.

We all know that Blizzard is not afraid to
use the ban hammer on gold farmers and all sort of cheaters, so in a continued effort to ensure a fair and fun online experience for all Battle.net players, it has expanded its efforts to remove cheaters from StarCraft and Diablo II. Blizzard has identified and closed (banned their CD keys for 30 days) over 350,000 StarCraft and Diablo II accounts which were found to be using third-party hacks.

Back in Sept. Maryland resident Melissa Thomas filed a $5 million class action lawsuit against EA in regard Spore's intrusive DRM policies. According to
GamePolitics two more suits have been filed, one revolving "the inclusion of undisclosed, secretly installed DRM protection measures with a program that was freely distributed" (the Spore demo), and the other by a Sims player calling it "immoral, unethical, oppressive, unscrupulous," stating that it causes all sort of computer problems that were not there before.
