THQ Inc today announced the release of BIONICLE for Game Boy Advance. BIONICLE, the second title under THQ's multi-title exclusive publishing agreement with LEGO Interactive, is now available at retail outlets nationwide.

THQ today announced the release of Scooby-Doo! Night of 100 Frights for the Xbox videogame system from Microsoft. Based on the classic Scooby-Doo! TV series, the game features original characters and villains with the celebrity voice talent of Don Knotts, Tim Conway and Tim Curry. The Xbox version is now available at retail outlets nationwide for a suggested retail price of $19.95. Scooby-Doo! Night of 100 Frights is also available for $19.95 for GameCube and the PlayStation2 computer entertainment system, under the PlayStation 2 Greatest Hits Program.

THQ today announced that it secured publishing rights to ATV Offroad Fury 2 for the PlayStation2 computer entertainment system for Europe, Australia and other international territories. The game, developed by THQ's Rainbow Studios and owned by Sony Computer Entertainment America, is the second installment in one of the most successful North American PlayStation 2 franchises to date. ATV Offroad Fury 2 is scheduled to release in international territories in September 2003.

THQ today announced changes to its product release schedule. The company's action-adventure title, "Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy," for the PlayStation 2 computer entertainment system is now expected to ship in North America on November 10, 2003. The title had previously been scheduled to launch in late September. The company also announced plans to publish Sphinx for the Xbox video game system from Microsoft in North America concurrent with the November PlayStation 2 and GameCube launch...
In addition, "Warhammer 40,000: Firewarrior," the first online first person shooter for PlayStation 2, will be released on schedule in Europe during the September quarter. However, the PlayStation 2 version is now expected to ship in North America during the third fiscal quarter. The PC versions are also now scheduled to ship in North America and Europe during the third fiscal quarter.

THQ announced the release of Walt Disney Pictures Presentation of Pixar Animation Studios' Finding Nemo videogame for the PlayStation 2 computer entertainment system, Xbox videogame system from Microsoft, Nintendo GameCube and Game Boy Advance, as well as two games for the PC/Mac. The game, which closely follows the storyline of the film, 'Finding Nemo' by Academy Award-winning Walt Disney Pictures and Pixar Animation Studios, is now available in advance of the movie, scheduled to launch in theaters nationwide on May 30. THQ today announced it has acquired the worldwide publishing rights to the highly anticipated "S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Oblivion Lost" (working title). Developed exclusively for PC by Ukraine-based GSC Game World, "S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Oblivion Lost" is the first game to utilize GSC Game World's proprietary X-Ray engine that allows for massive indoor/outdoor environments, real-time physics and the capability to push more than one million polygons per frame at 60 frames per second. "S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Oblivion Lost" provides players with an intense first person action experience that incorporates elements of survival horror and role-playing while taking place in the forbidden zone of the Chernobyl nuclear facility. THQ Inc. today announced that it has entered into a two-property, multi-year publishing agreement with world-renowned PC development studio Relic Entertainment Inc. Creators of critically acclaimed real-time strategy (RTS) titles Homeworld and Impossible Creatures, Relic is regarded as a leader in the RTS genre. Homeworld won PC Gamer magazine's "Game of the Year" honor in 1999 and has franchise sales of more than 1.3 million units worldwide since its release. The first of the two projects included in the agreement is currently in development at Relic and scheduled to release in the second half of 2004. More details on this project will be released later this year.
