THQ Brings 'Gunstar Future Heroes' (GBA) To Europe - Screens

THQ and SEGA Europe today announced a co-publishing agreement for Gunstar Future Heroes for the GBA in all territories excluding North America and Asia. Gunstar Future Heroes is a 2D shooter offering the relentless action, precision gunplay, and brilliant visuals that have become the trademark of Treasure, the game's legendary development team.
THQ Bringing Majesco Titles To Europe

THQ Europe and Majesco today announced an international sales and distribution agreement. Under the terms of the agreement, THQ will sell and distribute 14 Majesco titles (Psychonauts, Jaws, AoE 2 etc.) for the current console, handheld and PC platforms over a two year period in all PAL territories.
THQ Reveals 'Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War: Gold Edition'

A product page on the THQ UK website reveals plans for a Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War: Gold Edition, not to be confused with the previously announced Game of the Year Edition. While the GotY version contains the original and several patches, and 4 new mp maps, the Gold Edition will not only include the aforementioned but also the upcoming Winter Assault expansion pack (thanks Blues).

THQ Signs 'Constantine (PS2/Xbox) For North America

THQ and SCi Entertainment Group have signed an exclusive agreement naming THQ the North American publisher for the "Constantine" video game, licensed by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Comics, and based on the Warner Bros. Pictures film.

SCi announced that they have signed a distribution deal with Midway to bring two of its upcoming titles to the US market. Both Constantine and Battlestations: Midway will be distributed in North America by THQ, Constantine is expected on PS2 and Xbox in early 2005, while Midway is scheduled for summer 2005 on PC and consoles.
THQ Acquires Blue Tongue Entertainment

THQ today announced that it has acquired Blue Tongue Entertainment Limited. The Australia-based studio recently developed THQ's Polar Express for the PS2, PC and Gamecube, and is currently developing two cross-platform releases for late 2005.
THQ Financial Results Reveals New Titles & Product Delays

THQ has released its financial figures for its fiscal second quarter 2005 although sales were a little less than same period last year, they came in better than expected mainly due to strong sales from titles like Dawn Of War, Full Spectrium Warrior and WWE Day of Reckoning. Most interesting though is the announcement of Full Spectrum Warrior coming to PS2 (expected March 2005) and slight delay of S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl from Q1 2005 to May 2005, and Pandemic's Destroy All Humans from Q1 2005 to April 2005. THQ also opened a new development studio in San Diego by the name of Concrete Games.
'THQ' and 'Nickelodeon' Extend Licensing Deal

Nickelodeon and THQ today announced that they have extended their long-standing master interactive licensing agreement through 2010. The exclusive worldwide partnership grants THQ rights to continue to publish games based on all existing and future animated TV and movie properties targeting kids ages 6-14 across all viable game systems.
'WWE' Files Lawsuit Against 'Jakks' And 'THQ'

World Wrestling Entertainment today filed a fourteen count complaint in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York against Jakks Pacific, Inc., THQ, Inc., a joint venture involving Jakks and THQ, Stanley Shenker & Associates, Inc. and Bell Licensing, LLC for corruption, bribery and racketeering.
THQ Signs 'Juiced' (PS2/Xbox/PC)

Seems that the previous reports stating Take2 had signed Juiced after the demise of Acclaim are not true at all. A federal bankruptcy judge last night approved a tentative agreement to allow bankrupt Acclaim Entertainment to sell the rights of its anticipated street racing game "Juiced" to California video game publisher THQ. THQ Confirms 'S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow Of Chernobyl' Open Beta

THQ Germany has confirmed that they will be having an open multiplayer beta test for GSC World's upcoming FPS 'S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow Of Chernobyl.' As a "stalker" exploring the vast "Exclusion Zone" to procure artifacts for the black market, players must survive mutant creatures, dangerous anomalous areas, competing "stalkers" and a military charged with quarantining the 30 square kilometer area. A specific start date has not been announced although THQ does mention that it will be open up the MP beta to 5.000 people before its official Q1 2005 release date.
