While rumors about a new World of Warcraft expansion have been floating around the past few weeks, Germany's ESRB counter-part, the USK, might have revealed more than it should. Unlike the ESRB, the German ratings board also handles demos, and yesterday a new
listing for WoW: Wrath of the Lich King popped up, with a Addon/GC Demo tagged onto it. Could the Games Convention, late August, get a demo for the next WoW expansion? Will details be revealed at BlizzCon later this week?

In keeping with its aggressive stance against cheating in World of Warcraft, Blizzard banned over 114,000 accounts in Europe in the month of April. The banned accounts were taking part in activities that violate the game's Terms of Use, including using third-party programs to farm gold and items, which severely impacts the economy of a realm and the overall game enjoyment for all players.

Blizzard, in cooperation with First National Bank, are now offering a
World of Warcraft VISA card, allowing you to spend money and earn credits toward your monthly WoW subscription fee. For each dollar you spend you will get 1% ($0.01) of it credited to your $14.99 monthly charges through a point system. The card is still a regular credit card, so charges apply, and the plastic will feature graphics from the game.
