CDV sent out word that they have a released a new (UK, French & German)) patch for Battlefront's strategy title Combat Mission 2. The update brings your retail game to v1.03 and brings several game tweaks such as "Russian blunt-nose APBC ammo is reduced in effectiveness versus homogenous armor (e.g. Tiger, late StuG III) but increased versus face-hardened armor (some Pz IV, early/mid StuG III)." Activision has announced that id Software's RtCW: Operation Resurrection for the PlayStation2 is now available at retail outlets nationwide. The epic World War II adventure fuses heart-stopping action and frightening gameplay with the pursuit to topple the Third Reich's fiendish army of elite soldiers, zombies and genetically engineered super-soldiers. Developed by Raster Productions, RtCW: Operation Resurrection carries a suggested retail price of $49.99 and is rated "M" for mature by the ESRB.

CDV announces that "Combat Mission Beyond Overlord: Special Edition" for the PC is available in retail stores. Lauded by GameSpot as "one of the best war games ever made for the computer," "Combat Mission" combines turn-based and real-time tactical action.
