Metal Gear Solid 2, published by Konami has proved to be one of the UK's fastest selling computer game titles of all time. It reached the Silver ELSPA Award level (for sales of over 100,000 units) within the same week the title was released. Just two weeks later, it achieved the Gold ELSPA Award Level for reaching sales of 200,000 units.

European gamers will have to wait a little longer for Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty. Konami today officially delayed the European launch of Metal Gear Solid 2 from February 22nd to March 8th.
