Epic Games just released source files for the recent version 2136 of Unreal Tournament 2003. This zip file contains all of the .UC source files + debug .U packages for the official 2136 patch, as well as an updated version of the UDebugger. Go get it at 3DGamers (9.6MB)!

Shrapnel Games announced today that it's upcoming release, ATF: Armored Task Force, has had it's release date moved to November 13th. Richard Arnesen, of Shrapnel Games, stated "The release date for ATF was moved yesterday, after the printer informed us that they were running behind schedule. We apologize to all the fans of Captain Patrick Proctors war simulations."

Mindfire Entertainment has added another video game to its lineup of feature film projects. The company has secured the rights to Sega's ninja video game franchise "Shinobi." The popular 15-year-old arcade game has been reinvented as a 3-D action-adventure PlayStation 2 exclusive and ships for retail Nov. 12.

EA Games will release a stand-alone demo for 'Medal of Honor Allied Assault Spearhead', the new expansion pack for the highly acclaimed WWII action PC game, Medal of Honor Allied Assault. The demo will be available on Friday, November 8, 2002 from the official Medal of Honor Allied Assault website at http://www.mohaa.ea.com/. The downloadable demo will feature Malta, a multiplayer level exclusive to the demo and not included in the full version of the game. The demo will also include new skins for British, Russian, American and German troops as well as unveiling some of the new weapons! Atari's Unreal Tournament 2003 for personal computers, one of the most anticipated video game sequels ever, invaded the charts as the #1 PC product, excluding expansion packs, for two weeks following shipment on September 28. Developed by Digital Extremes and Epic Games, the game is the follow-up to the 1999 smash-hit Unreal Tournament, which won "Game of the Year" honors and became the multiplayer game of choice for amateur and professional gamers alike.

Codemasters confirmed today that its highly anticipated racing title Colin McRae Rally 3 will ship in February 2003 for the PlayStation2, while the Xbox version will ship on December 10, 2002. Codemasters has decided to delay the game in order to optimize the graphics and gameplay for the platform, ensuring that consumers receive the highest quality product.

7FX has just let us know that they have released a new map for their first person shooter TEam Factor. They have listened to the fans wishes, and created another large, open space level for you. During the E3'2002 in May Primal Soft announced a new game was coming and they have worked on it non-stop for almost a year now. The time has come to reveal it to the world - it's coming to completion rapidly and they'd like to wet your appetite a bit first. The game is called Besieger and it's a realtime 3D strategy. As you can guess even by its name, it offers a few interesting gameplay enhancements (such as towns that are actually fun to besiege and defend, innovative economics and involved storyline). The latest installment of the best-selling football management simulation Championship Manager is to appear exclusively on the Xbox video game system from Microsoft. Championship Manager: Season 02/03 is being developed by Sports Interactive and will be released in November.

Ubi Soft Entertainment today announced that Battle Realms: Winter of the Wolf, developed by Thousand Oaks, CA based Liquid Entertainment, has gone gold. The add-on for Battle Realms features extra missions, weapons, characters, and an all-new epic storyline that takes place seven years prior to the events in the original Battle Realms. Winter of the Wolf is co-published by Ubi Soft Entertainment and Crave Entertainment for the PC and is scheduled to release November 5.

The Official Shadowbane Web site just updated its new series detailing the stories and legends inside the worlds of Aerynth. This new series is called the Aerynthian Codex: A Bard's Travel Guide which concentrates on the landmarks, villages, and cities inside the newest world fragment of the Shadowbane beta test. The Codex contains close to 30 screenshots of the newbie continent of Tyrranth Minor, including stories and legends about the founding of Silverlance, one of the starting cities for players.
