Before you get all excited, no this is not
the promised "fall" update, actually this update doesn't do anything you can visualize, merely implement code to prepare for future growth of the service. So while Microsoft is obviously preparing for the new Xbox Live Experience later this year this update is only paving the road, no changes or enhancements, no new features what so ever are included.
Swords will be honed and weapons optimized in Namco Bandai's Soulcalibur IV. Delivering new gameplay modes, characters and enhanced features with unprecedented 3D modeling and animation, Soulcalibur IV will be the definitive fighting game experience.

Last month Microsoft revealed that it was reducing the price of its 20GB unit to $300 while at the same time introducing a 60GB edition for $380. According to Ars Technica there might be more as its sources revealed Microsoft might hack off another $50 off the entire model lineup, the HD less Xbox 360 Arcade would go from $279 to $199, while the 60GB Xbox 360 Pro gets reduced from $ 350 to $299, and the high end 120GB Xbox 360 Elite would be sold for $399 instead of its original $449 price.

Microsoft announced that a set of free & original short film pilots will be coming to Xbox Live this fall. Tekken 6 is the next installment in Namco Bandai's popular 3D fighting series, coming exclusively to the PS3. While Tekken 6 was a no show at E3, in a recent interview with GameEX Magazine, Haruki Suzaki revealed that the game is currently scheduled for Dec. 2008, and when asked if it was still a PS3 exclusive, Suzaki replied "No, It hasn't been determined yet as of the moment."
Fallout 3 places a player in the role of a Vault-dweller, who ventures from his secluded, underground survival Vault into a post-apocalyptic world of mutants, radiation, gangs and violence.

While Microsoft still denies anything related to a motion sensor controller, 3rd party manufacturer
Motus Games revealed Darwin, its 2 piece motion-controlled X360 controller. While it does not use infrared like Nintendo's device, the Darwin does use an array of sensors allowing it to detect movement. According to
Motus Games' Satayan Mahajan official announcements are to be made by console-makers, so maybe we'll get confirmation next week at E3, in the meantime
