Tomorrow Eidos will be releasing a demo for Pyro Studios' World War II FPS Commandos: Strike Force. The 650 mb demo will offer a two levels, one allowing you to set your espionage skills with the spy character, and the other that allows you to switch between the green beret and the sniper. We will have the demo available on our fileserver network at 9AM PST (noon EST, or 6PM GMT)

PC.IGN let us know that Commandos 3: Destination Berlin from Eidos has received gold status and is heading to production. While this applies to both the German and English versions of the game, the only shipping date confirmed is for Germany, where the game is set to ship October 24.

Thanks for Michiel from TAFN for sending us a note about the previously released Commandps 3 demo that supposebly came from a "Spanish" magazine. Eidos has this to say about it "It’s simply an unfinished demo. The one that is out there was not properly tested and was released pre-maturely. We’re working on a proper demo as well as the final game and both are far better than the demo presents. We’re unsure as to when the final demo will be ready as we are very focused on finishing the full version in a timely manor." Guess we'll have to wait and see, but in the meantime you can still download the old demo ...
