Eidos Interactive today announced it has entered a strategic partnership with Island Records, American Records and Roadrunner Records in the creation of the official in-game soundtrack for Backyard Wrestling: Don't Try This At Home. Currently in development by Paradox Development, Backyard Wrestling: Don't Try This At Home is an outrageous and over-the-top extreme wrestling game that takes the player beyond the traditional restraints of a wrestling ring where success is based on the ability to use and abuse the environment as well as the opponent. Set for release on PlayStation2 computer entertainment system & the Xbox video game system from Microsoft in late Summer of 2003, Backyard Wrestling: Don't Try This At Home will offer an official in-game soundtrack that is as diverse and genre defying as the game itself.
