Starting Dec. 15th until Jan. 2nd, Blizzard will be giving most major cities in its World of Warcraft MMORPG a festive makeover for the holiday season with unique items in shops, ability to throw snowballs, various bosses dropping gift wrapped loot, but also a new quest with The Preserved Holly as reward which transforms your flying mount into a reindeer.

do know is that
Activision Blizzard is planning for Call of Duty 5, as revealed in their lineup of future titles. Infinity Ward, responsible for the recent CoD 4, and Treyarch, who brought us CoD 3, have been taking turns on developing the series, and now is seems Treyarch is looking for
level builders for a "Call of Duty" title with stipulation that "if you're a fan of World War 2 shooters, then even better!" Either CoD5 returns to a WWII setting, or they are developing an expansion for one of the other titles, which is rather unlikely.

Vivendi has released its financial results for the first nine months of the year, and reported, to no one's surprise, an increase of 7% compared to last year (10.9% in the last quarter). Vivendi Games' revenues in particular are up 49% compared to last year, racking up a rough $1 billion, primarily driven, like the past year or two, by World of Warcraft, which has recently launched in China and now counts over 9 million subscribers.
