Ubi Soft® Entertainment and Team 17 announced today a worldwide publishing agreement for the PSone and Game Boy Advance versions of the hugely popular Worms World Party. Team 17 had previously bought back the rights to Worms World Party from embattled publisher EON as the latter begins to clear its portfolio.

Based on the Emmy-award winning Warner Bros. animated series The New Batman™ Adventures and featuring the DC Comics legendary hero, Ubi Soft® Entertainment is developing the first 3D Batman™ title for Microsoft's Xbox computer entertainment system, Batman: Vengeance. Developed internally in Ubi Soft's Montreal studios, with a story scripted specifically for the game, the title is slated to release in 2002.

Ubi Soft® Entertainment, Fox Interactive and Visiware announced today they have signed a worldwide accord to publish games based on the classic novel "Planet of the Apes" written by Pierre Boulle, and which will feature elements from the classic “Planet of the Apes” film franchise.
