Microsoft has just released a demo for their recently released "Zoo Tycoon Expansion Pack", it contains four tutorials (one from Dinosaur Digs and three from Marine Mania), and one Marine Mania map. The dinosaurs and animals featured in the trial version include the likes of the velociraptor, allosaurus, polar bear, manta ray and pacific walrus. NovaLogic releases the Delta Force: Black Hawk Down Official Multiplayer Demo, the demo features one multiplayer level and includes day and night settings. The demo is playable over the NovaWorld Games Network and via LAN. The 60 MB file is available on this NovaLogic Downloads Page which has a list of mirrors. Or grab it directly off 3DGamers.

UPDATE NovaLogic sends word that there is an updated version of the Delta Force Black Hawk Down Demo available that removes the NetQuartz ezpad technology that's been causing problems. Update 11 can be apply by clicking the "update game" button. Word is "once this update has installed, consumers will then be able to uninstall the ezpad technology and play with the demo as normal. To fully uninstall ezpad, right click on the ezpad icon on the task bar, and select quit, then uninstall the software via the ADD/REMOVE Programs option in the control panel."

Eidos Interactive, one of the world's leading publishers and developers of entertainment software announces Frontline Attack: War over Europe (US title: World War II: Panzer Claws). Eidos has acquired the worldwide publishing rights to the game with the exception of Russia, Poland and South Korea. Produced by Zuxxez Entertainment AG, Germany and developed by In-Images, Poland, Frontline Attack: War over Europe will be released on PC in September. Noticed over at the German Eidos site that they have now a German demo available for download and a mirror is up at 3DGamers. Beware, this puppy is a whopping 320mb!!! This demo offers a tutorial and one mission playable as the Wehrmacht side.

Strategy First just let us know that they have just released a playable demo of Haemimont Multimedia's isometric real-time strategy game, Celtic Kings: Rage of War. The place to be is their usual Gigex (direct Gigex link). The demo features a tutorial, the first mission from the adventure mode, a single player map and weighs in at 90 MB. (Thanks Blues).

A usual Friday it seems .. plenty of demo's get released right before the weekend ... First the announced updated Mobile Forces demo at 3D Gamers. The enhanced version of Rage Software's vehicular team-based shooter (74.1 MB) offers the same level and Holdout mode as previous version but includes a dedicated server option, enhanced networking code, rebalanced weapons, tweaked physics, particle effects, a spectator option, gameplay tweaks, bug fixes (thanks Blues). Second there is the 'Tony Hawk 3' demo which allows you to skate the Foundry as Tony Hawk. This 50mb skating pleasure is available at FilePlanet.

It wasnt supposed to be released until later today but the demo version of Raven Software and LucasArts's hit action game Star Wars: Jedi Knight II is now available. As mentioned before the demo contains a single player level that is not in the retail version of the game. You can download the 66MB demo through Gigex or at Shacknews.

For the people who cant wait until the English version of the Sudden Strike II is released you can now grab the German demo from gamesweb. The demo is about 57mb and contains a complete single-player campaign in Japan and also a multi-player map in which Japan, USA and Russia fight against eachother.

You can download the server at four locations over at HomeLAN.
