The festivities are over. I feel like I gained a few pounds, so it's time to tighten the belt and work off all the food we ate over the weekend.
Tonight, we have a
Faith No More concert, so that should be quite exciting! Haven't seen them in a long time, especially since they broke up in 1998, so when we heard about the reunion and them coming to town, we simply HAD to get tickets. We got a little bit lucky, as initially there was only one show planned, which sold out instantly, but two additional show dates were added and we managed to snag some tickets.

Part one of our eat-fest has been successfully completed. We went to a restaurant we hadn't been to in about eight years, and it was quite good. We weren't planning on being out as long as we did, so we did not get around to catching up on our DVR recordings for the week. It's up to 49% full, so we had better make a dent later on.
As we have a birthday today, it will start with a homemade breakfast, maybe a movie, some TV series, and dinner. Busy busy ....

The Konami Gamers Day on Thursday was interesting. There was a sneak peek of the new Silent Hill game, which was nothing more than a teaser that promised more detail would come at E3. Guess we'll have to wait until then. We did, however, get to sit down with the Castlevania people and managed to get an interesting interview, so keep an eye out for that sometime next week.
This weekend will be spent eating and watching TV, two of our favorite pastimes. Today we have a late lunch/early dinner engagement with some friends/co-workers we haven't seen in a long time, and on Sunday, we have a birthday celebration, so more eating is involved. Luckily, neither occasion involves us strapping on the apron, so we're quite happy about that.
