UFO: Aftershock follows directly from one of the endings of UFO: Aftermath, where the player agrees to hand over the Earth to the Alien scientists, who are trying to change the planet into a giant living organism. At the Leipzig Game Convention Atari revealed the official title of the newest game in the Driver franchise. Driver : Parallel Lines will be released on PS2 and Xbox, scheduled for March 2006. In ParallelLines Atari goes back in time as the setting for the game is late 70's, New York, where you play a young criminal named The Kid. Reflections seems to no longer be using the boat, but there will be about 80 other vehicles in the game, and you will be able to stick your gun out the window, and shoot while driving. Racing will take up 80% of the game, and the remainder are the on-foot missions & minigames. Unilke Driv3r, Parallel Lines will have various online multiplayer modes for up to 8 players.

According to GamesIndustry.biz development on SCi's Carmageddon remake has been halted. According to sources at Visual Science work was stopped over 2 weeks ago, but it is not quite certain if this means the project got cancelled, on hold or moving to another developer. Eidos US said there were no plans to bring this title to North American and SCi/Eidos UK could not be reached at this point.
