Yesterday The 3DO Company announced that its award-winning baseball game series 'High Heat Major League Baseball 2004' for the PC, PS2, and the Game Boy Advance handheld video game system, is due to ship in spring of 2003. For the first time, 'High Heat' will also be available on the Xbox and the GameCube. Today we are serving up a batch of screens for each of the platforms... Lets play ball!

Majesco today announced one of its newest offerings for 2003, BlowOut, a next generation 3D side-scrolling shooter intended for release for the PlayStation2, Xbox, and PC. Developed by Kaos Kontrol, BlowOut is slated for release next fall.

In Gladius players may choose to take on the role of Ursula or Valens. Ursula, from the northern land of Nordagh, is the daughter of a great barbarian king. In 'Wallace & Gromit' players will rescue young animals from the clutches of mischievous monkeys and thwart Feathers McGraw's twisted and diabolical plan for total zoo domination. Set in an immersive 3D world, the player is cast as Gromit and is challenged to solve puzzles and locate keys in order to rescue the young animals. Machine parts, located throughout the game's many testing levels, must also be gathered so that the ever-inventive Wallace can create a marvellous contraption with which to deal the final knockout blow to the dastardly Feathers and his vile plans. Vivendi has announced it is to bring the all-action adventures of James Cameron's Dark Angel to the PlayStation 2 and Xbox video game systems. The game has been developed by Radical Ent., is being published by Sierra Entertainment Inc., a studio of Vivendi Universal Games, and is due for release on 21st February, 2003 (already available in the US).

Batter up! EA takes fans out to the ballgame with the first season of MVP Baseball from EA SPORTS. Currently under development, MVP Baseball 2003 will be available next spring on the PlayStation 2 computer entertainment system and the Xbox video game system from Microsoft. A PC version will be released in summer 2003.

Bam Entertainment's "Ice Nine" is one of their upcoming PS2 (also coming for the GBA) titles, inspired by the upcoming Al Pacino and Colin Farrell movie "The Recruit". Ice Nine suggest a stealth action game, aimed at the effort to stop the Ice Nine computer virus. Today we have some more detailed info and screens for you to enjoy!

Codemasters today announced its revolutionary PlayStation2 racing title, Pro Race Driver, shipped to stores. Pro Race Driver redefines the racing genre with the inclusion of an innovative narrative character-based storyline and the realism of more than 40 detailed cars and 38 licensed tracks in Pro Race Driver. The game is available on store shelves for an SRP of $39.99.

With its unique comic-book inspired art style, Crushed Baseball 2004 will offer fast-paced arcade gameplay that will appeal to both sports and non-sports gaming fans. With its over-the-top style, players will be able to power-up characters and give them superhuman abilities and special powers called “Mojo” abilities. For example, a pitcher might throw a pitch that acts as a buzz-saw and slices through the hitter’s bat; a batter may hit a ground ball that lodges itself in the field so it can’t be picked up, and a fielder might use their gravity glove ability to suction the ball into their glove to record an out.
