Ty the Tasmanian Tiger will offer a light-hearted and humorous action adventure experience where players will take on the role of Ty and encounter a bevy of madcap characters based on real-life animals that are indigenous to Australia. THQ Inc. today announced that development on its highly anticipated action, role-playing title, "Summoner 2" for the PlayStation 2 computer entertainment system is complete. "Summoner 2," the sequel to one of the top-selling PlayStation 2 launch titles, "Summoner," is scheduled to ship on September 13. Sony Computer Entertainment Europe today announced that it was reducing the Recommended Retail Price (RRP) of its PlayStation 2 computer entertainment system to £169.99 in the UK and to between €249 - €259 in Eurocurrency countries. The price cut, which is effective from midnight on Thursday 29 August, is expected to give a huge boost to sales of the market leading entertainment system in the run up to Christmas.

Cinemaware’s epic game production, Robin Hood: Defender of the Crown is currently in development at the company’s headquarters in Burlingame, California. The product is based on Cinemaware’s hit game Defender of the Crown, first released in 1986 on the Commodore Amiga and subsequently to a variety of platforms where sold over 1,000,000 units worldwide.
