This morning we bring you some screens and features from Capcom and their upcoming PS2 titles, Clock Tower 3 and Breath of Fire V.

Breath of Fire for the PlayStation 2 sports a whole new 3D-world look, an engrossing storyline, brand new stylized visuals and innovative gameplay features.

Clock Tower 3 promises to evoke fear with unnerving visuals and an equally intense storyline. The entire game features fully rendered 3D backgrounds, offering an incredibly realistic look to each scene and battle event.

SCEE's 'Hardware Network Technology' (working title) is a fast action, fun-packed arcade blasting, online multi-player combat game that promises to be the ultimate death match experience, putting the player in the driving seat of some of the most powerful military fighting vehicles in existence today. Players are brought together online, placed in a massive purpose built environment equipped with high-tech weaponry and are then let loose with the primary purpose to destroy their opponents as many times as possible!

Sony Computer Entertainment Europe is delighted to announce the forthcoming release of Treasure Planet on PS one and PS2, the action adventure based on Disney's forthcoming animated movie.

Ubi Soft Entertainment, one of the world’s largest video game publishers, recently announced BG&E [working title], the latest creation by Michel Ancel, designer of the critically acclaimed Rayman series. We got our hands on 30 new screens from Vivendi and their upcoming title, The Thing. "A sequel to Universal Studios' and John Carpenter's 1982 cult-classic horror film "The Thing," the video game picks up where the movie left off and features an all-new cast of characters. The player becomes Blake, a military squad captain sent into the frozen Antarctic to investigate the mysterious disappearance of an American scientific expedition. As fast as scuttling alien beasts, the questions arise: Is Blake a trustworthy leader? Are his fellow soldiers on his side? Or have they been infected by The Thing?"

After more than 300 comic books, an animated series and most recently a blockbuster feature film featuring the X-Men, Wolverine is the one character that grips the public’s attention more than any of the other X-Men,” states Larry Goldberg, executive vice president, Activision Worldwide Studios. “X-Men: Wolverine’s Revenge allows you to play as Wolverine, explore the enigmatic hero’s past and carve up a host of bad guys along the way. True Crime: Streets Of L.A. allows players to move freely through a 400 square mile living, breathing re-creation of the City of Angels. Players will be able to visit popular L.A. landmarks, or buy services from local gun merchants, mechanics or doughnut shops and improve Kang’s abilities by visiting auto simulators, dojo’s and gun ranges around town. True Crime: Streets Of L.A. is slated to ship in 2003.

Capcom announced auto modellista, the first true cell-shaded arcade-style racing action for the PS2. Designed to capture the essence of the racing experience, auto modellista allows players to customize real-world cars from the get-go and acquire essential components to soup-up their ride. Licenses from world-renowned carmakers including Mazda, Honda, Toyota, Nissan, Mitsubishi and Subaru offer the ultimate realism. auto modellista is scheduled to release this winter.

Vivendi Universal came to the E3 packing some serious heat. Today we serve up screens from about 10 titles they will be showing off during the show in LA. Mat Hoffman’s Pro BMX 2 allows players to travel with Mat Hoffman, Mike Escamilla, Chad Kagy, Cory Nastazio, Joe Kowalski, Rick Thorne, Kevin Robinson, and Simon Tabron to eight cities across America. Players can perform thousands of tricks as they experience multiple modes of play: Road Trip, Wreak Havoc, HORSE and many multi-player split screen modes. Players can also build their own BMX, course using the next generation Mat Hoffman’s Pro BMX 2 course editor.

Ecks vs. Sever PlayStation 2 is being developed by Seattle-based Zombie Studios. The movie, due in theatres this November, stars Antonio Banderas and Lucy Liu. Building on the release of last fall’s critically acclaimed Ecks vs. Sever for Game Boy Advance®, Ecks vs. Sever PlayStation 2 is anticipated to be available this November shortly after the release of the movie. Riding Spirits is an exhilarating, fast paced motorcycle racing game currently being developed by Japanese publisher and development studio Spike. An experienced multi-platform developer, Spike are best known for the beat 'em up hit, Fire Pro Wrestling, which BAM! launched on the Game Boy® Advance last summer. BAM! Entertainment today announced that it will spotlight several top European and Japanese PlayStation 2 titles this week during the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3). Thanks to agreements with top international developers, BAM! Entertainment brings several games to the North American market including Way of the Samurai, Riding Spirits, WipEout Fusion and Dropship: United Peace Force. The saga of Max and Logan continues as Sierra and Fox Interactive announced today the development of James Cameron's Dark Angel( for the PS2 and the Xbox. James Cameron's Dark Angel is a third-person action adventure game, which features both fighting and stealth tactics, based on the television series created by Academy Award-winner James Cameron and Charles Eglee. In addition to an original captivating storyline, James Cameron's Dark Angel features the likenesses and voice-overs by Jessica Alba (Max) and Michael Weatherly (Logan).

THQ Inc. today unveiled the next game in its "Evil Dead" franchise at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) in Los Angeles. "Evil Dead: A Fistful of Boomstick" is based on the "Evil Dead" movie trilogy that earned a cult following among millions of horror fans. "Evil Dead: A Fistful of Boomstick" is developed by VIS Interactive and will be available for the PlayStation2 computer entertainment system and the Xbox video game system from Microsoft in early 2003.
