Konami announced today that the Castlevania franchise will make its debut on the the Xbox in fall 2005 with Castlevania: Curse of Darkness. Phantom Dust creator Yukio Futatsugi has commissioned the release of 34 new skills via the downloadable skill update 1.20 on Xbox Live. Ubisoft today announced the exclusive music soundtrack for its combat-racing game 187 Ride or Die, hitting the Xbox and PS2 end of summer 2005. The in-game music soundtrack features 15 unreleased hip-hop tracks composed specifically for 187 Ride or Die. In addition to producing and performing on the soundtrack, Guerilla Black also lends his voice and likeness for one of the main characters in the game, Dupree.

Namco today announced it has signed Rebellion's realistic World War II sniper simulation Sniper Elite for North America. The game plunges players behind enemy lines on an undercover mission to divert Atomic weapon research from the advancing Soviet Army.
