Take 2 and Rockstar are being sued in federal court in Manhattan over hidden sexual content in their "GTA: San Andreas" video game. The plaintiff, Florence Cohen, claims that she purchased the game for her teenage grandson in or about late 2004 when the game was rated "M" and was damaged when it came to light that sexually explicit scenes believed to be inaccessible by players were left in the game by developers.

2K Games today announced a co-publishing agreement between Take-Two and Bethesda Softworks, granting Take-Two co-publishing, sales and distribution rights to The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. 2K Games has also signed an agreement to co-publish Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth, a first-person horror game that combines intense action and adventure elements.

Cox Newspaper is reporting that a teenage girl who was photographed topless, apparently during Spring Break at South Padre Island, is now one of the topless image prizes in The Guy Game. The problem is, the girl was 17 when she was photographed, and is now suing Take 2, Sony and Microsoft as she claims she did not give consent.

Take-Two today announced financial results for its third quarter and in comparison to last year, sales & revenue are down and instead of a profit Take2 is running a $14.4 million loss. In its defense it has to be said that last year's thrid quarter has several key titles, with its sequels now due in the fourth quarter. Main revelations in the results are the fact that Take 2 liquidated its Gathering publishing division, and instead syphoned everything under its GlobalStar umbrella.
