A few days ago the official Chrome website www.chromethegame.com got a new design. The website has a new, lighter, and more appealing layout. They also added new sections dedicated to player’s clans, Chrometeam, and game’s editor ChromeEd. While creating the website, they also took into consideration players with slower internet connection.

Techland announced today that the worldwide version of Chrome goes gold. Chrome is a tactical FPP shooter taking place in distant future. Colonization of a newly discovered planetary system is the background for the game. Chrome offers photorealistic graphics depicting vast, forested terrain and unique playability based on the implant system, vehicles, and freedom of the player during the missions. Computer and video game publisher Gathering, a subsidiary of Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc. today announced that the first-person shooter Chrome has been signed to the label and is set for release in the UK, Ireland, France, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Belgium, Netherlands & Luxemburg in September.

Publisher Strategy First and Developer Techland announced today that the release date for their upcoming PC First-Person Tactical Shooter game, CHROME, has been changed from early to late summer 2003. The decision to push back the release of CHROME was based on player feedback from the recent beta test.

FilePlanet is now offering Techland's upcoming first-person shooter "Chrome" as one of their "exclusive" demo's for paid FilePlanet subscribers only. Strategy First announced today that it has signed a multiple title publishing agreement with Polish developer/publisher Techland. The deal will see Strategy First publish 9 titles including the much-anticipated Sci-Fi Shooter Chrome into the North American market.

Techland announced last week that the single player demo of its upcoming title will not be released at this point. Techland decided to focus on finishing Chrome – the biggest Polish game production. The game is close to a beta version, which should be reached in 1.5 month. The work on the missions, game logic and graphics accelerates as the team is increasingly motivated by the upcoming deadline.
