If the "three strikes and you're out" rule would apply to games,
DoA4 would be dead before arrival. Initially scheduled as an X360 launch title on November 22nd, it was slightly delayed for a week until December 1st, then another week, and now it seems
online retailers have postponed Tecmo's brawler for another seven days until December 14.

Last week
Game Informer revealed that a Halo-related character was going to be unlockable in Team Ninja’s upcoming Dead Or Alive 4 for the Xbox 360, and while Bundie usually quickly dismisses, or simply doesn't comment, such rumors, this time

What character will actually be featured in DoA 4 is still a well kept secret, but more details are promised to be revealed soon. Since there will not be a Halo 3 announcement at X05, we are looking forward to hear what Bungie has in store...

While
GameSpot is reporting that Bad Brain Ent. might have secured the rights to continue work on Sam & Max Freelance Police, and will have an announcement on Monday,
the German developer's website paints a rather different picture with the message that negotiations have been suspended. "We tried everything to bring you the game you all wanted. But it seems all hope has gone. They broke of[f] negotiations. But you truly have to believe that it wasn't our fault and it sure wasn't the money. We just don't know and they don't tell. But we don't give up that easy. There is still a glimpse of hope and Steve Purcell is the one who is in charge now. We are talking ... and we are hoping ... again" (
