Kenn Hoekstra let us know,
through his website Kenn's World, that effective Wednesday, June 30th will resign from Raven Software. "I'm sure the question many of you are asking is 'why?' (Then again, maybe you aren't!) Put simply, I've reached a point in my life where it's time for me to move on to new challenges…to take some risks and make some time for a few things I've always wanted to do. I don't deal well with 'what might have been' scenarios. That said, there are some shots I need to take and I believe now is the time for me to take them. The way I see it, if I don't do it now, I may never get the chance again."

While Piranha Bytes is hard at work on Gothic 3, not much has been heard about the Gothic II: Night of the Raven expansion, andhere is why : "Bad news concerning the addon. I've talked with Plex if there will be an english version of the addon (Nacht des Raben), and he said that's a very difficult question. Many political problems are here within and it's not sure if there will be ever an english addon. this is out of the hands of JoWooD and Atari doesn't respond. Seems that the addon is temporary on ice or it died long before." (thanks RPGDot)
