Vivendi Games' revenues of EUR 134 million were 18.6% above the prior year, an increase primarily driven by the continued success of Blizzard's MMORPG World of Warcraft. Other solid Q1 2006 performers included North America revenues from Ice Age 2, based on the movie in current release from Fox, and continuing strong sales from backlist products including 50 Cent: Bulletproof and Crash Tag Team Racing.

It has been a busy few weeks with early announcements through online retailers and premature magazine covers, and today seems to be no different. EBGames' online website
lists for two new titles in SCE and Zipper Interactive's SOCOM US Navy Seals franchise. SOCOM US Navy Seals Combined Assault for PS2 and SOCOM US Navy Seals Fireteam Bravo 2 for PSP are both scheduled for end of 2006, although a SCEA representative was unable, or not allowed, to give any comment.

In Emergency 4 you can either play the 20 mission campaign or choose to try the randomly generated missions. Emergency 4 will feature realistic physics (walls collapsing, fire spreading), simplified controls, as well as a multiplayer mode. This patch will bring your French/German retail game to v1.1 and addresses a multiplayer issue.

Brothers In Arms: Earned In Blood features a new single-player narrative, new multiplayer missions, an all-new cooperative-style game mode, and new weapons and vehicles. Ubisoft has released a new patch for Gearbox's WWII based FPS bringing your retail game to v1.03 and basically adds 3 new skirmish maps to the game. Whether or not this patch also fixes any bugs or crashes is not known at this point.
