Seems KOEI is not only bringing Orochi Warriors 2 to the PSP, but also an adaptation of its Dynasty Warriors 6 title according to the latest issue of Shonen Jump, adding various new features, new stages, and an upgraded version of FW5's Musou Rage with super saiyan effects, and will have multiplayer and co-op support. Characters in Multi Raid have the ability to transform into a more powerful look, similar to the DragonBall Z titles (thanks Andreas).

Dynasty Warriors and Samurai Warriors meet again in an unforgettable crossover event. Adding a Versus mode, characters from both franchises must team up to wage war against a new, powerful force. Gone gold yesterday for PS2 and X360, the latest issue of Japanese magazine Famitsu reveals a PSP version is also in the works, currently scheduled for release in Asia Nov. 27, 2008.

D3Publisher will bring its classic PSP titles to gamers for download via the PlayStation Store in North America beginning this September. PSP system owners will no longer need a UMD to play titles such as mini-game collection WTF: work time fun, the original Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords, and third person-action game Dead Head Fred.

Last month SCEA announced a revamped PSP model with a higher quality LCD screens for better picture quality. Shortly thereafter rumors claimed that because of the enhanced screen the battery life would be shorter than the previous PSP model. Sony issued a statement saying that those rumors are incorrect, and while the new PSP screen draws a little more power, its engineers worked to reduce the power consumption of the overall system to even things out.

A listing on the European game rating board PEGI, the ESRB's counterpart, reveals that LucasArts might be working on yet another game in the Indiana Jones franchise. Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings, to be published by LucasArts' European distributor Activision, is supposedly an action game in development for the NDS and PSP. No further details were provided but it is know that LucasArts is working on an untitled Indiana Jones title for X360 and PS3.
